Hadlee Jane Whatcott

Our sweet little Hadlee was blessed today and it was such a neat experience, I feel so blessed to know I have my little family forever!! She was such a good little baby thru the prayer and not to mention she looked adorable!!

We had a great day, it was nice to share this experience with our families!!

Daddy and his girl, he did and amazing job, I am so proud of him!!

This little ring was first worn by my Grandpa Breinholt on 1910, it is this darling little ruby ring and way cool that she was able to be blessed in it almost 100 years later!!

Momma and Hadlee, I'm going to post my baby picture because she is a splitting image of me, it is so weird how much she looks like I did!!

Sweet grandma Whatcott, she is such a great grandma to Hadlee!! She is a very blessed little baby, no matter where she goes she's the princess!! And I am very lucky between my mom and Pam I have so much help and support!!

Just like the good 'ole times!!

Last night I had so much playing catch up with my two good friends!! I haven't seen Jillian in about 5 years!! We need a whole week to catch up on EVERYTHING!! There are truly certain people in your life that no matter what you can pick up and have the best time with and these are definitely two of mine!! Luckily I get Chelsey all the time, but as for Jilly I can't wait until I get to see you again!! Thanks for a fun night!!

So Big!!!

to this in 6.5 weeks!! My Hadlee is starting to grow so dang fast!! With each day her little personality gets more defined and she is becoming such a little person!! I thought I'd cry every day she got older and although it can make me sad, she just gets more and more fun!!

Here she is with Papa Gary, as of now she has his pretty blue eye's!!

So pink and brown might be our favorite colors!!

The difference 5 weeks make!!

Hadlee got a new cousin today!! Hudson Cole Whatcott. I just want to congratulate Nick and Janessa on their sweet little baby, they have gone threw so much this year with the passing of baby Cole and so I'm so happy for them to get a healthy sweet little baby!! She has had 2 babies in less than a year, she is amazing and such a positive person, I am very happy for her and Nick!! We love you guys!! Wow the difference 3 pounds make!! Hadlee is weighing in at 8 lbs 13 oz and Hudson is 5 lbs 12 oz.

Our sweet little monkey at 5 weeks!! She has been hitting her little milestones, she started smiling on purpose, she started wearing size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothes (even though they are still so big!!), she slept 6 hours straight last night, and she is discovering her little voice and cooing!! It is so cute but is going by so fast, I want to stop time!!

She loves her binki in which I consider myself lucky for that!!

And sometimes nothing can make us happy but the boob!!

Best friends and bath time!!

Hadlee met her knew best buddy Liam the other day!! They are less than 24 hours apart in age and since both their moms were in the hospital at the same time they had to wait to meet!! So fun how all my friends are having little babies with me, Hadlee is going to have lots of little friends!! And yes this is how my child sleeps when she is on her back!! She looks so comfy!!

First and last time she is sharing a blanket with a boy until she's 30!!

So her favorite thing is getting in the bath with her dad!! She can be screaming and you put her in and she is as calm as can be!! So yes we did end up taking a bath at 4:30 am the other night!!

Indecisive

So here we are 3 weeks down the road and I can honestly say I love being a mom!! It is my calling in life and I love this little baby so dang much!! She is such a sweet little thing and well worth the wait!! Now like every other mom in this world its all bliss until about oh midnight!!! I seriously can't figure out how my child wants to sleep!! Yes she looks so peaceful here but she will only sleep like that on the couch the second I put her in her bed its like I've offended her with such a place!!! She even hates the positioner wedge I got her, basically she hates her bed!! So we have tried other options!!

We loved Boppy for about 2 nights and maybe 2 more here and there but not as an every night ritual, heavens no to easy!! So we try the next best thing...

And yes this has been the best option but after her 5 to 6 am feeding she sits and grunts for 2 hours straight!! Now I know I should just put her in her own room but she is still so gaggy that it makes me way nervous and I wouldn't sleep worrying about her!! If she could have it her way she would sleep on her belly on my chest all night long but I have broken that habit and now just listen to her grunt!! We did hit a milestone last night when she went almost 6 hours between feedings, but that was only once and I'll really be happy when that happens 1. every night and 2. twice in one night!!! Any advice of a better way to make her sleep ? How do they know its night and were tired!!?

It's a good thing she is so dang cute, even when she screams that little face makes me clench my teeth so hard in love that I have headaches!! Love you Hadlee
